Downtown Hamilton Ghost Walk

Our Ghost Walk of Downtown Hamilton takes you right to the heart of the City where you will learn about many local hauntings including The Royal Connaught Hotel, The Right House, Hamilton Place, Whitehern, St. Paul's Church and the link that puts Jack the Ripper in Hamilton just before the infamous Whitechapel murders in England! The tour is approx. 90 minutes and is all outdoors. Tour meets at the mini-courtyard in front of the Royal Connaught Hotel.
Hermitage Ruins Ghost Walk

Although most of this historic piece of property in Ancaster is in ruins, the Hermitage is said to be very much alive with unhappy ghosts from the past. It is one of our area's more famous and well-known haunts. Come explore the history of this unique place and learn about the intersection that is now known as "Lover's Lane" and why an unhappy coachman hung himself in the nearby carriage house. Who knows, maybe you just might see something that you won't be able to explain. This tour is approx 90 minutes in length and takes place all outdoors in the dimly lit forest. Bring a flashlight. Tour meets at the parking lot at the corner of Mineral and Sulphur Springs Road.
Hamilton’s Dark Past: A Historical Walking Tour

Join Haunted Hamilton for this special and rare historical tour at dusk! Learn about Hamilton's Dark History with a tour that focuses on the dark and criminal past of our City. This tour gives you the stories you won't find in school history books! Public executions on a street once named for them, murderers, murderesses and mob hits! Hear about Evelyn Dick and the "torso murder" that mesmerized the country and Rocco Perri, the King of Bootleggers who was Canada's Al Capone! This tour is approx 2 hours and meets in front of the Stone Terrace buildings on James Street South in front of Bistro Parisian. Led by Haunted Hamilton Founding Partner, Daniel Cumerlato.
Gore Park Fountain
The Gore Park Fountain is tentatively scheduled to be reinstalled in Gore Park on Saturday, May 1st after a winter of conservation work. Please visit the park, located across the street from Doors Open Hamilton Headquarters at Tourism Hamilton, as part of your Doors Open route.
