Startups all geared to sell Organic Food @ New Delhi Food Fest

A super exciting and delicious food fest is all set to rock this January, in New Delhi. Be ready to enjoy beverages made from Ladakhi berries, all natural ice tea, baby food based on fruits, freshly made dips and lot more at the Indusfood festival, which is a government flagship’s food show and export fair.

Startups all geared to sell Organic Food @ New Delhi Food Fest

The government has selected 25 startup brands to showcase their organic food for the event, that is scheduled for this month.

On asking about the event to Mohit Singla, Chairman of Trade Promotion Council of India – adds ” There is a bigger crowd and brand pavilion with us, who will keep their organic food ideas on display like desserts and even fruit-based baby food”.

The council has shortlisted brands that are into the production of food items keeping the ‘organic’ value. One such brand is the Navrit – they make chutneys, pickles, soup, pasta using only the organic spices in it.

Mohit also added that their main focus is to let the nation, as well as the global audience, know how marketing is growing quickly in the ready-to-eat industry. And yes, the main focus is on organic food facts and their value-added health benefits.

Quick Facts – India’s organic food export had a value realization of $515 during 2017-18, and is all set to go higher this year. Currently, India ranks at the top position in the total number of organic productions, and 9th for the organic agricultural land.

This is going to the 2nd edition of the food fair. For the 3rd edition, the fair will also have foreign companies participating and selling their products.
